Choose the right ticket option for your budget and experience
The famous Wimbledon ballot (public lottery) opens in September for the following year. Apply online through the official Wimbledon website. Successful applicants are notified in early spring. This is the only way to get Centre Court or No.1 Court tickets at face value.

How to get to the venue and navigate the city
Take the District Line to Southfields station (15 min walk to venue) or the Northern Line to Wimbledon station (25 min walk or shuttle bus). The Tube runs frequent service throughout the day but gets very busy during tournament hours.
South Western Railway from London Waterloo to Wimbledon station takes about 17 minutes. This is the fastest option from central London. Wimbledon station connects to the District Line, mainline trains, and dedicated shuttle buses to the grounds.
Heathrow is the closest major airport, about 40 minutes by Tube (Piccadilly Line to Earl's Court, then District Line to Southfields). Gatwick connects via Thameslink to London Bridge with a change to the Tube. Both provide convenient access for international visitors.
